Nine News Presenter Amber Sherlock made her return to our screens yesterday, just three days after leaked footage of her on-set spat with fellow journalist Julie Snook made international headlines.
But again it was her choice of outfit that raised eyebrows everywhere, with the TV reporter wisely avoiding the colour white and opting instead for a fire-engine red dress.
Sherlock looked calm and stress-free as she presented the weather for the 6pm bulletin, the 45-year-old making no reference to the now infamous outburst which saw her spray Snook during the ad break of a live-cross for wearing a similar outfit.
There’s no doubt it’s been a surreal few days for the TV veteran, as the leaked video which surfaced on Thursday quickly became a viral sensation. The clip, now dubbed “Jacket-gate,” was even the butt of a joke on US talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live!
“I don’t know who decided to release this tape but whoever that was I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart,” Kimmel said before playing the tape to millions of viewers.
Sherlock has since made her return to social media, after setting her accounts to private within minutes of the footage being leaked.
