Look who is back together! Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks reunited on the set of Good Morning America, 23 years after their mega-hit, Sleepless in Seattle.
The pair, who have remained friends ever since, appear in a new film, Ithaca, which is set in the Second World War. The picture is Meg’s directorial debut, and Tom features briefly in a flashback.
‘He did me the craziest favour ever,’ Meg said on GMA of Tom. ‘He’s so adorable that he, like gathered the crew around after the ten hours that he worked and said, “I’m so happy that we got to know each other so well in these last 10 hours, but thank you for being here for my friend Meg.” So adorable.’
Even more excitingly, the movie features Meg’s son Jack Quaid, as one of her character’s children.
