Instead of being united in the face of tragedy following the death of their sibling Alexis, the famous Arquette acting clan are reportedly increasingly at odds over dealing with the late star’s legacy – including the upcoming funeral.
More than a week after her death, the transgender star has still not been laid to rest, with her siblings – including Patricia, David, and Rosanna Arquette – said to be disagreeing over even minor details of the arrangements.
‘The Arquette family is more divided than ever before over this,’ a source told Radar Online. ‘Since Alexis’s death, Patricia has practically gone into hiding, and so has her brother, David. The Arquettes are private people anyways and this just sent them over the edge.
‘As a result, they decided that her Alexis will be buried in the family plot at Hollywood Forever cemetery in the next coming days, but ONLY family will be allowed to attend. Even her closest friends are not invited to attend, which has made some upset.’
Adding to the perception that the star’s family want to stay well away from the spotlight in the wake of the tragedy, not one of the siblings turned up at a memorial party organised by Alexis’ friends, many of whome were apparently offended – with one sniping to Radar: ‘The Arquettes are feuding over things like who gets her artwork, her records and her furniture even.’
