The Bachelor star Alex Nation has broken her silence, less than a week after it was revealed she had split with Richie Strahan and embarked on an affair with a woman.
Taking to Instagram, the 26-year-old Bachelor winner has thanked her fans for their support, reminding them that “all you need is love.”
“My heart is just so full,” she captioned the inspirational post.
“Thank you to all of those who sprinkled kindness everywhere on my Birthday. Nothing but love for you all 💗”
Her budding romance with football teammate Meagan Luxa was first exposed on Monday, with a friend of the reality TV star telling New Idea that the pair have “found love” together.
“It started a month ago with Maegan,” the pal said.
“They are now inseparable, spending very few nights apart, but it was all a bit of a shock.”
The blonde beauty and the 31-year-old chef were snapped enjoying a romantic date night in Melbourne last week, showering each other with kisses and appearing elated to be in each other’s company.
It’s believed Nation’s former beau was kept in the dark about her new relationship.
“Richie knows nothing at all about this,” the friend admitted.
“Right now, confronting him with this news seems way too difficult and the last thing she wants to do is hurt Richie. She still treasures the time they spent together.”
