CCTV footage has emerged of the terrifying moment a young Aussie woman attacked two strangers with an axe at a suburban 7-Eleven.
The video, published by News Corp, shows a young blonde woman walking into the Enmore service station with an axe in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The woman can be seen speaking with customer Ben Rimmer as alleged victim, Sharon Hacker, stands at the cash register.
Suddenly, the woman swings the axe and brings it down on Mr Rimmer’s head, before turning to strike Ms Hacker.
Ms hacker told Network Ten about the bloody rampage, which saw her left with a skull fracture and Mr Rimmer with serious head injuries.
“She just came with full force and swung and struck the man across the face,” she said.
“Then [she] turned immediately around to me and again, with both hands, came through and struck me with the axe in the back of the head.”
“And then as I was falling forward, [she] came in again and came down and struck me again.”
“His face was completely opened up and bleeding profusely,” Ms Hacker continued.” I’m just very lucky that I have very thick dreadlocks.”
The attacker, who has since been revealed as 24-year-old Evie Amati, has been charged over the incident and was denied bail to face court on Thursday.
