Casey Donovan has vowed to get her weight under control on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.
The singer says she entered the show weighing 149kg and shared her goal weight of under 100kg.
Her fellow contestant Kris Smith, who was evicted on Thursday’s episode, offered his advice and promised to help keep her on track outside the jungle.
“I want to know, fellow Sydney sider, how I can help. Even if it's just meeting up and going for a walk, even if it's meeting up and just talking about your diet, even if it's just a phone call and you go, ‘Look, struggling, how can I get past this part,” he said.
Casey said to the camera afterwards: “I would like to continue on, you know, kind of eating clean and not going back to old habits. Although I am happy and confident in my own skin now, I would like to feel how it is to be happy and confident in a new skin and with a new look on life.”
The singer said the last time she weighed under 100 kilos was when she was 14 years old.
On a previous episode of the series, Donovan claimed she'd "love to drop 50 kilos" while speaking openly with her campmates.
The conversation began when Casey admitted she wanted to change her weight and shape after asking Natalie Bassingthwaighte to teach her how to houla.
Natalie then asked Casey "Do you wanna come and do an exercise with us?" after mentioning her desire to shed her "apron this year".
"At first when they said they were going to train I thought, 'Really can't be a****'."
However, Donovan eventually joined the group and told the cameras: "I don't know, I just thought 'don't be an idiot, Donovan. Just go'."
The singer then undertook several exercises with her teammates.
