Rumours are swirling that The Project host Carrie Bickmore was set to appear alongside former TV partner and friend Rove McManus on his 2DayFM radio show long before Sam Frost entered the picture.
It would be the obvious choice, with the former Rove Live co-stars having had a great rapport during their days on the talk show.
However, the Gold Logie-winner has set the record straight, insisting it was never the case that she would join Rove on the radio – though she was quick to add that she wouldn’t rule it out.
'It isn't true,’ the 35-year-old told The Daily Telegraph. '[But] I heard the rumour and I would never say no to working with Rove again.’
It’s no surprise rumours continue to swirl around the matter – Rove and Sam’s 2DayFM breakfast show has plagued by criticism since the very beginning, with many saying former Bachelorette Sam isn’t up to the job.
And with Carrie nipping at her heels, Sam had better watch out!
