The couple couldn't have been more excited for the impending new arrival, with Candice posting to her Instagram just days earlier: "Won’t be long until our little family of 4 becomes 5."
But the birth wasn't everything that she'd expected.
Speaking to an Australian publication, Candice revealed the horror which unfolded during the birth, after baby Isla reacted badly to the drugs used to induce labour.
"I knew something was very wrong," the new mum said of the birth.
"Every time I was contracting, her heart rate would drop dramatically," she revealed.
Thankfully for Candice, David, "did not leave her side" she told the publication.
And after eight hours of a fluctuating heart rate over the 12-hour labour, baby Isla was born.
"She just kept fighting - she's definitely got the Warner gritty determination!" she said.
Baby Isla Rose joins sisters Indi, 4, and Ivy, 2, who are already "fighting over" their new little sister.
Congratulations to the Warner family!
