In an effort to bring the families together, the two mums sit down with Milly and Micah for lunch.
Catherine has high hopes for the lunch, hoping she can get to know Micah’s mum better.
But things quickly go south when Deidre reveals she hasn’t forgiven Catherine for kicking Micah out of her home after he broke her ‘no drugs’ rule, leaving him with nowhere to go.
“I think I’ve still not forgiven her for how she treated my son,” Deidre says. “When I’m pushed, I’m like a mumma tiger in the corner ‒ I’m gonna come out fighting.” And she certainly does just that, confronting Catherine over the issue.
Catherine immediately becomes defensive and the two women go head-to-head at lunch, clearly upsetting their two children.
“I don’t think it’s Deidre’s business, that’s between Micah, Milly and myself,” Catherine says. “That’s just bringing up nastiness.”
Indeed, things certainly do get nasty as the two women battle it out at the table. And to make matters worse, Micah teams up with his mum in attacking Catherine.
Will they be able to sort out their feud and have an enjoyable lunch or will things just get worse?
