It’s one of the most talked-about shows on Australian TV in ages – and the revelations keep coming for the stars of Bride And Prejudice.
The hit reality series, which focuses on couples who are struggling to cope with prejudice issues from one or more of their parents, features soon-to-be-wed couple Donny and Marina.
Donny, who is of Indian heritage, has to deal with the fact his future mother-in-law does not approve of ‘interracial marriage’ and is said to be worried ‘about the colour of her grandchildren.’
Now it has been revealed that Marina, who is of Russian heritage and has the full support of her Dad and her future in-laws, has a bit of experience with reality TV. It’s been confirmed today that she was once a feisty intruder on the 2014 season of Big Brother.
But whatever that experience gave her, it could never have prepared her for her current situation.
'I don't want to choose between mum and Donny,' Marina told News Ltd. 'I want mum to accept him into our family and to see him as someone that could be a son to her.'
