Braedence Jones was reported missing in August by his father Ryan Jones after a visit with his mother Aubrey Ferguson, who did not have full custody of her son.
The six-year-old's mother and her boyfriend, Woodrow Ziegler, were arrested after police searched a home in Laclede County, Missouri in the United States.
Braedence was inside the crawl space in the attic with his mother and her boyfriend.
He has since been reunited with his father.
"OUR LITTLE BOY IS HOME. GOD IS SOOOO GOOD!!!!💜 Thank you all for the prayers, shared, phone calls and etc. we don’t know how to thank everyone enough. Our hearts are so full of joy atm. Just thank you everyone..." his step-mother shared on Facebook.
"The boyfriend had already nailed the crawl space shut and had covered it with either a carpet or some piece of cloth and had moved furniture and other items in front of it to block it,” A rep from Camden County Sheriff’s Office said.
Ferguson has been charged with felony child abduction, Daily Mail reports.
