A shocking discovery at Westfield Bondi Junction has been made today, as early morning shoppers stumbled upon a dead body.
Sydney Morning Herald reports a deceased male was found in a fire stairwell at the busy shopping centre around 8.30 am this morning. Police from the Eastern Beaches Local Area Command have been attending the scene as they seek to uncover the circumstances around the man's death. His identity remains unknown, but it's believed the body has been there a few days.
A police spokeswoman has said: "A crime scene has been established and inquiries are continuing."
