“You’re my best friend and I love you,” Chandler commented on the snap, which could easily be mistaken for part of an engagement photoshoot.
However, those close to the Irwins say that while the lovebirds have not yet tied the knot, they’re now considering bringing their big day forward, and they can’t wait to be husband and wife.
New Idea understands the couple, who have been together for six years, want a small beach wedding surrounded by only their closest friends and family.
The affair will most likely take place towards the end July, after Bindi’s 21st birthday.
It is also believed that Bindi’s younger brother, Robert, 15, will have two important duties on his sister’s special day – first as one of Chandler’s groomsmen, but also as official photographer to capture all of the magical moments.
Meanwhile, mum Terri Irwin will have the honour of walking her daughter down the aisle before Bindi marries the man of her dreams.
And there’s no-one else Bindi wants by her side.
“My mum will always be my greatest inspiration,” Bindi shared on social media.
“Her courage and determination has moved mountains ... Dad really was the luckiest man alive to marry such an amazing woman. I love her beyond words.”
Of meeting Chandler back in 2013 when he was visiting Australia Zoo with other wakeboarders from the US, Bindi says she feels “very blessed.”
Since then, the couple have been inseparable, travelling the world together and following their passion for conservation side by side.
“I will forever live for adventuring with you,” Chandler previously gushed on Instagram.
“I’m always excited to see where life will take us next.”
And as their big day approaches, an emotional Terri admits she’s happy her daughter has met her soulmate and she has no doubt her late husband, Steve, who died in 2006, would be proud of his family.
In fact for Terri, Bindi and Chandler's love story reminds her of her own.
“I always felt with Steve, if I hadn’t married Steve I wouldn’t have gotten married,” the wildlife warrior revealed in an interview last year.
“I feel that we had that soulmate thing.”
Meanwhile, Chandler, who unfortunately never got the chance to meet “The Crocodile Hunter”, hopes he too can carry on Steve’s legacy.
“He taught everyone to love all wildlife and wild places,” Chandler wrote in a tribute piece on Instagram.
“Steve inspired me from the first time I watched him when I was only a couple of years old. Today and every day we will remember his message.”
And as for the moment he sees his bride walking down the aisle, the 22-year-old will no doubt struggle to hold back his tears.
“I’m the luckiest man alive,” he says of finding The One.
“Every day with you [Bindi] is the best day ever. Whether we’re spending time with seagulls, giraffes or crocs, I’m grateful for every minute spent together ... Here’s to many more blessed years.”
