According to 19 year old Bindi’s American in-laws, the loved-up couple are set to tie the knot in a ceremony Down Under.
Speaking to the National Enquirer, Chandler’s grandfather, John DiCenzo, 74, spoke from his home in Florida to break the happy news.
‘It’s been a while now. They are on their time frame but we are quietly waiting (for an announcement),’ he spilled.
‘They want to be sure the timing is right because they don’t want any pressure on them.’
Bindi and professional wakeboarder Chandler, 21 have been dating since 2013 after they met at Australia Zoo, and their big day is set to be the wedding of the year!
‘Bindi’s mum, Terri, has visions of it being Australia’s version of the royal wedding, and you can bet the Australia Zoo will be the venue!,’ spills an Irwin source.
‘The “Crocoseum” stadium within the zoo is ideal. It seats roughly 5,000 people and a beautiful podium could easily be built over the crocodile ponds in the middle.’
And of course, having the ceremony at the zoo would be a perfect tribute to Bindi’s dad, the late Steve Irwin.
‘These are two very special people who have a lot in common, and are a good influence on each other,’ continues John.
‘A lot of people would like to see it go all the way.’
