Last week, star cast member Johnny Galecki dropped the bombshell that the hit series could come to an end after the completion of its 12th season, and now the rest of the cast are up in arms over the prospect of being out of a job.
According to show insiders, Johnny and fellow Big Bang star Kaley Cuoco have had a falling out after she announced her engagement to her professional equestrian boyfriend, Karl Cook. And now, jealous Johnny - who once dated Kaley - is said to be refusing to work with the actress anymore.
Speaking with reporters at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour in Pasadena, California, Johnny hinted that the popular show had run its course.
'The only manner in which the cast had discussed wrapping [The Big Bang Theory] has been that we're all going to be very sad when that day comes,' the actor said. 'But I think this point, everyone is feeling very comfortable with 12 seasons being a good time to go home and see our families.'
However, besides Jim Parsons - who is said to be keen to break free from his Sheldon Cooper character and has already filmed an upcoming movie with Claire Danes - the rest of the cast, including Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik, are said to be furious about the sudden demise of the show.
With no other roles in the works, the soon-to-be jobless actors are terrified at the thought of losing out on their big pay cheques.
