The Bachelor’s Tiffany Scanlon has opened up about why she split from her girlfriend Megan Marx.
The 30-year-old launched her own website The Tiffany Times where she revealed that fame drove them apart.
“We made the decision (mistake) at that point to share our relationship with the public... This, I believe, would eventually cost us our relationship,” she said.
“We had paid the ultimate price for sharing our relationship so publicly and putting so much pressure on it.”
The reality star says being in the public eye gave her anxiety.
“We were going to a tonne of events and I was finding it more and more difficult to enjoy myself now that we were more recognisable to the public.
“Strangers grabbing at us for pictures, not even introducing themselves or talking to us, men asking for threesomes, people accusing us of faking our relationship.
“I was tired of the scrutiny, tired of defending myself, tired of the negative attention and tired of pretending to be happy.”
Earlier this year the couple moved to Bali together to start a new life, however, recently they hinted their love came to an end in a series of cryptic Instagram posts.
