Shannon later revealed she struggled with depression during her time inside The Bachelor mansion.
"I'm being honest, I was struggling with depression in the house," she told TV Week magazine in an exit interview.
"I had quite a bit of anxiety. I found it difficult and the more it went on and the closer I got to the girls, the behaviour in the house got more intense so I became more anxious."

Despite failing to win the heart of The Honey Badger, Shannon has built a respectable fan base on social media with more than 43,500 followers ].
She also forged a strong friendship with her Bachelor co-star Cass Wood who will appear alongside her on Bachelor in Paradise.
Shannon first expressed desire to feature on the spin off back in September 2018, when she told MSN.com: "Put me on an island with more than one bloke and I'll be happy!"
