Young Divas singer Kate DeAraugo has apologised to fans after making appearing in a Victorian court on drugs and weapons charges.
On October 4, she attended Bendigo Magistrates Court, and following her stint in court, the 31-year-old told reporters outside she was remorseful of her actions.
According to the Daily Mail, DeAraugo's barrister revealed she would plead guilty to the serious charges.
This comes after the star was twice caught with methamphetamine over a five-day period on June 12, as reported by Shepparton News.
The star was allegedly found with .43 grams of ice, and five days later was found with "a trafficable quantity" of the drug, as well as a large knife and a tomahawk.
DeAraugo shot to fame when she won Australian Idol in 2005. She then went on to enjoy a short-lived success in pop group Young Divas alongside fellow idol contestants.
