He looks to be about 6’1”! So far nobody’s stopped to get an exact measurement of his height, but he’s much taller Sophie!
Where Did Apollo Grow Up?
He was born in the Gold Coast. He still lives there, spending time in Sydney as well.
Has Apollo Always Been So Fit?
No. In fact, he used to be overweight! Back in 2015, that and a lot of stress ended up in Apollo suffering a heart attack. After two weeks of critical care, he rethought his life, considering: “‘OK, what do I really want in my life?’ And at the end of the day it was making people smile and making people feel good and my heart has always been doing that. Performing magic and singing for people in the critical care ward and just seeing their smiles and watching their eyes light up was just such a good feeling. I quit both the jobs I had—I had two businesses—and just went, ‘This is it. This is what I’m doing. This is my purpose and I’m chasing it.’”
He’s undergone weight loss since then, leaving behind his former 150kg physique to become the stocky and well-built man we all know and love.
Is Apollo Actually A Magician?
Yes he is! Even before he went on the Bachelorette, he was already a world-class magician who’d done shows in Las Vegas. As the man himself says on his website: “Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that, you can make anything possible.”
What Else Does He Do For Work?
He bills himself on his Instagram account as a music artist, DJ, actor, and pro wrestler, in addition to the magic. He’s available for a wide range of gigs, as his website and agency show. You might not get him to come out for your birthday, but you can certainly lean on your boss to bring him on for your brand!
But while Apollo may loom large in entertainment, his real passion is in charity and humanitarian work. He’s the face of Horses Helping Humans, who focus on the healing that animals can bring to people affected by disabilities and illness.
Does Apollo Play Music?
To quote the man himself: “I've been doing music longer than magic, I've been writing and releasing music for a few years now.” In fact, he’s been singing in pubs for years! He originally planned to release a song called ‘Addiction’, but it’s never surfaced; his debut release is instead ‘With You’. You might think of it as Apollo’s Bachelorette song.
Who Has Apollo Dated In The Past?
Aside from his time on the Bachelorette, he’s had ten girlfriends so far. The one that everyone remembers is who he ended up with on Bachelor In Paradise: Simone Ormesher.
It didn’t work out for various reasons; at the time, he lived with his mother, and Simone wasn’t quite up for his Batman sheets. There was also the matter of distance to cover, as Simone lives in Melbourne. However, they remain good friends.
Does He Currently Have A Girlfriend?
Yes! Apollo is currently in a relationship with Edyn Mackney from Love Island.
They’ve been together since 27 January of this year, confirmed by this Instagram post from Edyn. Turns out both went on the wrong dating shows!

Yes, he does have Instagram, and he’s not shy on it either. He posts videos of magic tricks, as well as other photos. Only a few shirtless ones, sadly.
