Amal Clooney, acclaimed human rights lawyer and wife of Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney is joining us in sunny Down Under to headline the Women World Changers Summit 2016. The 38-year-old will be in Sydney and Melbourne in October to speak on the important issue of greater workplace diversity and equality.
The Daily Mail has reported that Amal's speech will also draw from her own life experiences and detail “what it takes to choose the more challenging path, the path with the most question marks and uncertainties, and the determination to stay the course". Her aim of course being to "encourage women to push themselves and put themselves forward to take on difficult and challenging jobs in non-traditional careers."
However, if you're hoping to meet the inspirational woman you mayl need to start saving now. Tickets start at $1,100 for a seat in the audience and skyrocket to $22,000 for a table of 10. The VIP includes a chance to meet Amal herself at a networking lunch before the presentation.
