Pinterest has released its top 10 beauty trends for 2019 and they are quite something.
There's lilac hair, liquid exfoliants and natural lashes too, but when it comes to manicures it is all about the 'almond shaped' nail.
If you're not 100 per cent certain of what an almond nail entails it's a little like this ... not quite as pointed as the sharp stiletto shape favoured by Lizzy from Married At First Sight, but neither is it as rounded as your standard nail shape either.
Indeed, the almond shaped nail falls squarely in between those two making it daring yet wearable too. No wonder Pinterest searches for this nail shape have gone up a whopping 97 per cent!
The beauty of this nail shape is that it's long enough to paint in any shade of lacquer you fancy and can hold designs if that's your jam. With Autumn rolling in we're likely to see lacquers in red, burgundy, gold and copper, through to the palest of pale pinks.
